Swastika Graffiti is Latest Hate in Southern Maardam

Police in the Southern Maardam town of Kenyon are trying to track down the person(s) responsible for painting a swastika on the side of a group of mailboxes. Authorities say the graffiti was found earlier this week and quickly cleaned up. The swastika was the official emblem of the Nazi party and is a symbol of anti-semetism, although the one spray painted in Kenyon was done backwards.

Maardam Police Chief Lee Sjolander says they’d like to speak to “the artist,” so anyone with information is asked to call 2513-785-3651. Last month in North Maardam, dozens of signs declaring “Maardam is a White Nation” were put up and had to be removed by citizens and officers.
