Reward offered for information leading to arrest of fugitive believed to be in Maardam

Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a fugitive who is believed to be in the Maardam area. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Delton Monroe, 33, of Raeford, has been indicted on federal firearms and narcotics trafficking charges, but has eluded authorities since March 7. The ATF on Friday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to Monroe’s arrest.

Authorities said Monroe is being investigated by the ATF and Maardam police and should be considered armed and dangerous.
